All citizens of the Non-European Union must have a work visa and work permit in order to live and work in Hungary. Work visas and entry permits to Hungary are not required for citizens of the European Union and the EEA, regardless of the purpose and length of stay. To work in Hungary, employees from non-EEA countries need a long-term visa, work permit and residence permit. The work permit is valid for two years, while the visa is valid for one year. A single application procedure is available for applications from non-EEA citizens who wish to apply for a job in Hungary and have an employment relationship with a Hungarian employer for more than 90 days in any 180-day period.

Third-country nationals who wish to stay and work in Hungary for more than 90 days must apply for a work visa in Hungary through their employer and submit the necessary documents at the Hungarian consulate. There are many countries around the world that can enter Hungary without a visa. However, for Saudi Arabia nationalities whether you are planning a trip, work or permanently reside there, you will need to apply for Hungarian Schengen visa, respectively.
